The Asian Studies Program (ProAsia) of the Faculty of Economics, Management and Accounting at the University of São Paulo (USP) aims to broaden and deepen scientific knowledge that enables a greater political and economic relationship between Brazil and Asia. The program develops applied research on the internationalization of Brazilian and Asian companies, the flows of FDI and international trade, the evolution of economic development in East Asia including the role of technological innovations, and the adoption and diffusion of management and business models.
ProAsia is the main forum in Brazil for researchers, executives and policy makers to address the challenges of building initiatives between Brazil and Asia. Backed by a network of partners in leading schools in Brazil, the United States, China, Japan, South Korea, India, Mexico, Argentina and Spain and the United Kingdom, the Program provides a global view of innovative solutions to old and new challenges in a moving and changing world through its research, teaching, training , consulting and advisory services.
